Most baby sleep machines feature multiple light, color, and noise settings which are exciting and stimulating for babies, but not too helpful when it comes to bedtime! Developed by a world-leading sleep laboratory, this scientifically proven and patent-pending sleep machine is packed full of innovative technology designed to simulate ideal sleeping conditions and relax baby.

Pink Noise

While in the womb, babies are enveloped in sound—mom’s voice and heartbeat, the rhythmic movement of the digestive system, the oceanic whoosh of breathing, and the filtered sounds of the world outside. Pink noise imitates these natural sounds to aid baby in falling asleep faster, deeper and for longer.Choose between 2 audio settings, one for you and one for baby. Audio 1 is for standard pink noise and audio 2 is specifically for tiny, sensitive ears. To ensure our sound is perfect for baby’s hearing and development, the maximum volume is 50dBA. At this level, the sounds are audible and brain waves pick up on them, but they do not disturb once asleep.

The ambient red glow encourages the production of melatonin (the sleep hormone), to help baby to get to sleep fast and rest longer through the night. Minimally stimulating, red light is ideal as a night light—use it when bottle feeding or nursing to keep disturbance to a minimum. Featuring 3 brightness levels, the maximum being 200 lux, recommended as the brightest setting for the least impact on sleep.

The rhythmic light waves encourage slow, deep breaths by mimicking resting breathing rates. The first, faster pulse setting reflects baby’s resting breathing rate, helping to induce sleep in infants. The second, slower pulse mimics your resting breathing rate, helping you to relax and prime the body for sleep.

This innovative light and sound machine is grounded in scientific research and developed with a world-leading sleep lab in the UK. From the specific wavelength of the red-colored light to the composition of the audio files, we have meticulously matched the optimum settings to provide a relaxing, calm environment for sound sleep.

The smart CrySensor listens out for baby’s cries during the night, then plays your choice of sound and light settings to gently settle them back to sleep. After 40 minutes of quiet, the device will switch to standby mode. It will continue to stay alert while switched on and while the CrySensor button is selected.

The Dreammaker sleep sound machine is powered by a micro USB cable and adaptor plug. The USB adaptor plug is not included, but the cable is compatible with most phone charger USB plugs. The device will remember your settings for as long as it’s plugged in.

To power on or off, simply double tap the Dreammaker’s ring to select the light, sound and pulse settings that suit your preferences. We introduced the “double tap” function to stop curious little ones turning it off and on.
